About<\/span><\/h2>\n

The purpose of the Italian Conference on Theoretical Computer Science (ICTCS) is to foster the cross-fertilization of ideas stemming from different areas of theoretical computer science. In particular, ICTCS provides an ideal environment where junior researchers and PhD students can meet senior researchers. ICTCS 2022 \u00a0will take place in Rome, Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

ICTCS will carefully monitor the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, and take guidance from the health authorities, to determine whether ICTCS22 will be held physically, virtually or in a hybrid manner.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Computer Science<\/strong>

Founded on January 1, 1992 under the initiative of a group of professors from the Department of Mathematics \u201cGuido Castelnuovo\u201d with backgrounds from a variety of fields such as physics, engineering, and mathematics, the department is set on building upon the scientific and mathematical backgrounds of the founders. The department became the first center in greater Rome dedicated to the study of theoretical and applied computer science and today is a reference point for well-prepared students to jump into\u00a0 the evolving field of Information and Communications Technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
