IISA 2026<\/strong> will be held on the grounds of the University of the Aegean<\/strong>, on the island of Rodos, Greece<\/strong>.<\/p>\nRodos boasts a rich and fascinating history, where its strong medieval character harmoniously intertwines with traditional Greek charm. The island is also blessed with remarkable natural beauty: pine-covered mountains rise above pristine beaches, mountain villages gaze down upon seaside towns, and archaeological sites and medieval monuments stand alongside cosmopolitan yet traditionally styled resorts. Together, these elements create an irresistible destination, even for the most discerning traveler.<\/p>\n
Rodos is home to several departments of the University of the Aegean<\/strong>, which educate a high number of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students.<\/p>\nThe conference will consist of keynote talks, oral and poster presentations, invited sessions, and workshops<\/strong> on the applications and theory of Information Intelligence Systems and Applications. It will provide excellent opportunities for the presentation of interesting new research results and discussion about them, leading to cross-fertilization, knowledge transfer, and the generation of new ideas.<\/p>\nThe University of the Aegean<\/strong> represents a historical milestone for the Greek higher education area, since its foundation in 1984. The University is a multi-insular entity<\/strong>, with Schools and Departments located on six (6) Aegean islands, making it the most geographically dispersed university in the country.
