IISA2026 CONFERENCE WILL PLACE SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON 21st CENTURY AI AND EDUCATION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Information<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is widely available and accessible, but frequently leads to information overload and overexposure, while the effort for coding, storing, hiding, securing, transmitting and retrieving it may be excessive.\u00a0Intelligence<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is required to manage information and extract knowledge from it, inspired by biological and other paradigms.\u00a0Multimedia Systems<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and Networks,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>with an increasing level of Intelligence, are being developed that incorporate these advances. As a result, new\u00a0Technologies, Protocols and Applications<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0are emerging.<\/p>\n

The International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications (IISA)<\/strong> series offers a forum for the constructive interaction and prolific exchange of ideas among scientists and practitioners from different research fields \u2013 such as computers, mathematics, physics, biology, medicine, chemistry, experimental psychology, social sciences, linguistics, and engineering \u2013 having the goal of developing methodologies and tools for the solution of complex problems in artificial intelligence, biology, neuroscience, security, monitoring, surveillance, healthcare, sustainability in energy sources, governance, education, commerce, automation, robotics, optimization, image, speech and natural languages, and their integration.<\/p>\n

The IISA conference series has become an international forum for researchers and professionals in all areas of Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications. We invite submissions of papers presenting high-quality original research and developments for the conference tracks listed.<\/p>\n

IISA2026<\/strong> is the seventeenth conference in the IISA series, technically co-sponsored by IEEE (pending approval), the University of Piraeus (Greece), the University of the Aegean (Greece), Hellenic Open University (Greece), The Open University of Japan (Japan), and Musashi University (Japan). Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore\u2019s scope and quality requirements. Extended versions of the accepted papers will be published in special issues of\u00a0international journals.<\/p>\n

IISA 2026 will be held on grounds of the University of the Aegean, island of Rodos, Greece.<\/p>\n

Rodos boasts a rich and fascinating history, where its strong medieval character harmoniously intertwines with traditional Greek charm. The island is also blessed with remarkable natural beauty: pine-covered mountains rise above pristine beaches, mountain villages gaze down upon seaside towns, and archaeological sites and medieval monuments stand alongside cosmopolitan yet traditionally styled resorts. Together, these elements create an irresistible destination, even for the most discerning traveler.<\/p>\n

Rodos is home to several departments of the University of the Aegean which educate a high number of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students.<\/p>\n

The conference will consist of keynote talks, oral and poster presentations, invited sessions and workshops, on the applications and theory of Information Intelligence Systems and Applications. It will provide excellent opportunities for the presentation of interesting new research results and discussion about them, leading to cross-fertilization, knowledge transfer and generation of new ideas.<\/p>\n

The University of the Aegean represents a historical attempt for the Greek University area, since its foundation in 1984. The University of the Aegean is a multi-insular entity with units\/Schools and Departments located on six (6) Aegean islands and, in this regard, it is the most geographically dispersed university of the country. Basic and applied scientific research at international, national, regional and local level has been carried out in all Departments by the scientific staff of the University through various projects, publications and conferences (applied research, development interventions, etc.).<\/p>\n
