Nicosia Risk Forum, since 2018, is a merging point for Civil Protection the area of South-Eastern Europe, which brings together academic, industrial, governmental, policy and other societal stakeholders with a significant interest in societal safety.
Nicosia Risk Forum 2024 (#NRF2024) will have the following  key theme:

“Strengthening the Disaster Resilience of the Mediterranean Region: Safety, Security, and Climate Crisis Challenges”

It aims to provide an all-inclusive platform of dialogue and communication between all countries and major stakeholders in the Mediterranean region. During its 2-day Program, #NRF2024 will provide an open environment of formal and informal communication for all participants, which can be exploited in the best of their interests.

Nicosia Risk Forum 2024 is co-organised by the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus and the Center of Excellence in Risk and Decision Sciences (CERIDES) of European University Cyprus. #NRF2024 will take place under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, who will also provide a welcome speech during the second day of the event (5th of December 2024). #NRF2024 is endorsed by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), and by the CLIMPACT panhellenic initiative on Climate Change.
