How to reach Naples

BY AIR

If you plan to reach Naples by airplane you will arrive at the International Airport of Capodichino (http://www.aeroportodinapoli.it/). From the airport you can easily travel to the historical center of Naples by:

-local bus shuttle from the airport to train railway station of Napoli Centrale (https://www.anm.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1314)

BY TRAIN

Naples is served by different railway lines. The main train railway station is “Napoli Centrale” station (https://goo.gl/maps/VaraDbyTko7iXxPq9), arriving and departure station for several high-speed trains connecting Naples to the rest of Italy (https://www.rfi.it/it/stazioni/napoli-centrale.html). Furthermore, from the Napoli Centrale branch off different lines of local metros:

-metro “line 1” (https://www.anm.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=71&Itemid=98): ideal for reaching the hilly part of Naples, the Vomero district.

-metro “line 2”( https://www.trenitalia.com/it/treni_regionali/campania/metro_napoli.html): ideal for reaching the historical center in few stops (“Montesanto” station is in the core of historical center of Naples)
