ESA Research Network 21 for Quantitative Methods
RN 21 ("Quantitative Methods") is one of the 37 research networks of the European Sociological Association. It provides a platform for discussion of new developments and core problems of quantitative research in Europe. It promotes the use of all varieties of quantitative methods, including survey research, experimental methods, causal inference, simulation, statistical techniques, comparative methods, and others. A special focus of the network is the support of cross national collaboration of researchers, and the enhancement of comparative research by bringing together experts from different fields and countries.
All those who are engaged in quantitative or mixed methods empirical research, whereever they may be working in Europe are welcome to become members of the network.
Become a member of RN 21
Full membership of the RN 21 is linked to membership in the European Sociological Association. Membership fee is 10 EUR for two years, payable via ESA.

Cyprus Sociological Association
The Cyprus Sociological Association was founded in Nicosia in November 1996
The Goals of the Association are to contribute towards the spread sociological thought in the Cypriot Society, the education / training of the members of the Association, as well as the promotion of their usefulness to the benefit of society, the safeguarding of the sociological profession of the sociologist and the promotion of the professional engagement of the members and the cooperation with research centers, tertiary education institutions and other bodies in matters of sociological interest.

Since its establishment in 1989, the University of Cyprus has consistently pursued excellence, fulfilling its mission to the Cypriot society. Today, the University is recognized as the most important research and higher education institution of Cyprus, and has also, moreover, been honoured as a 'distinguished Mediterranean University'.
Currently, the University comprises eight Faculties and 22 Departments offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research study programmes to more than 7000 enrolled students. The University employs over 900 people in its academic and administrative staff.
