The welcome cocktail of the conference will take place at the rooftop of St. George Lycabettus Hotel, which has one of the most stunning views of Acropolis. There will be ample finger food cold and hot so that you will enjoy a filling standing dinner; this will of course be accompanied by fine Greek wines.

Acropolis Walk & Lunch at Fish Restaurant in the Athenian Riviera (Full Day starting at 10.00)

We start at 10am for a tour of a guided tour of Acropolis. We will then head at Syntagma Square, to visit the most famous spot in town, to observe the ceremony that is a must to see, for all visitors to the Greek capital: The Changing of the Guard that occurs every hour in front of the Hellenic Parliament! The Evzones, a special unit of the Hellenic Army, standing proudly in perfect stillness, dressed in their distinctive official costumes, perform the ceremonial change.

Also known as Tsoliades, they guard the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, a cenotaph dedicated to Greek soldiers who lost their lives in war. During the ceremony, guards work in pairs, coordinating their movements in slow motion to ensure proper blood circulation after their immobile one-hour guard duty.

Gather at the meeting point that will be announced later for a bus trip to Athens Riviera for a fish lunch.
